This morning we warmly welcome Rabbi Robin, who serves Temple Beth Jacob in Concord, NH, to our pulpit. Rabbi Robin will explore the biblical story of Ruth and Naomi, a text about chosen family and loyalty. Most of our music and readings on this morning are by Jewish and/or LGBTQIA sources. Our Time for All Ages will address the creation of the rainbow flag.
Rabbi Robin was ordained by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. She is a graduate of both New York University and Cornell Law School and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area as an attorney and legal author before attending rabbinical school. Rabbi Robin shares her life with Cantor Shira Nafshi, and they are delighted parents of Liba, who joined their family in 2014.
